Beautiful Feet School of Dance began as a summer dance camp for youth in the city of Selma and surrounding communities. Operating under the name TLC Dance Camp, we established a reputation of offering fun yet structured dance instruction throughout the summer months. With the success of seven summer programs, offering a nine-month program, in addition to summer classes , was the next step!

Beautiful Feet School of Dance exists solely to grant the opportunity for area youth to experience a portion of the arts. Our goal is to help develop and release creativity while building self esteem and confidence. Here, your child can learn and master a variety of dance styles including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern Ballet, Pointe, Praise Dance, and Hip-Hop. We also offer fitness options by hosting Zumba fitness classes!

Ms. Courtney has had over 18 years of dance training including classes at the University of Alabama. Her training includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern ballet. Courtney has choreographed for several organizations and churches around the black belt. She has served as dance coach at Concordia College Selma and currently serves as the head cheerleading coach.

Ms. Courtney graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Marketing in 2008. She obtained her M.S. in Management from Troy University Montgomery in 2009. She adds value to her students by attending conferences and workshops for the newest developments in world of dance!
